Welcome to the Huang Materials Acceleration and Intelligence Laboratory (MAIL)

We develop next-generation catalysis and accelerated materials discovery platforms for sustainable chemical transformations. The MAIL at the University of Notre Dame focuses on electrocatalysis, high-throughput materials discovery, AI-guided design, and scalable manufacturing. We aim to accelerate the discovery of functional materials and enable scalable electrified chemical processes.

We are actively recruiting postdoctoral researchers and PhD students. Candidates with backgrounds in electrochemistry, catalysis, materials science, or AI/ML are encouraged to apply.
