I'm a sophomore chemical engineering student from Tampa, FL, interested in the intersection of materials science with emerging technologies and the broader theme of national security. I additionally plan to study political science through the five-year Reilly Dual Degree Program, which I'm in the process of joining. I look to combine my chemical engineering technical skills with important policy insights in order to become a more effective thinker—a goal that is in line with my desire to pursue a career in the intelligence field. With this being my first lab, I look to grow exponentially through its intensive mentorship and training, becoming more knowledgeable about advanced computational and analytical methods. Outside the classroom, I enjoy cooking/baking, hanging out with friends (especially when it involves good food!), having movie nights, and enjoying great weather with exciting sports or nice walks around campus.
